This was our first cruise -ever!
A quick tour of the ship and where we were located on that ship

Were were on Deck 7

Getting aboard
You first have to go through a long line of waiting and "vetting" and getting a pass.
![](20170213/Getting Aboard (1).jpg)
![](PicturesDay2.jpg)
Once aboard, we went to see our room. I had surprised Sharon with 40th Anniversary decorations.

![](20170213/Room Decoration3.JPG)
![](20170213/Room Decoration6.JPG)
She liked the balcony - Good idea Pauline (My Little Sister recommended we do this)
![](20170213/Sharon on the Balcony.jpg)
before leaving, we saw Charleston from our balcony
![](20170213/Charleston From Balcony2.JPG)
In departing, we had Coast Guard escort (notice the gun mount...I say this because in Nassau, they did not have any of this)
![](20170213/Coat Guard Escort (1).JPG)
The USS Yorktown was visible in Mt Pleasant.
![](20170213/USS YORKTOWN.JPG)
We looked around the ship
![](20170213/IMG_3589.JPG)
Even pointing to where Kheayali's parent's live in Qatar.
![](20170213/Qatar.JPG)
The next day we visited some more..starting with coffee
![](20170214/IMG_3599.JPG)
Always fun to watch kids have fun
![](20170214/IMG_3603.JPG)
Then came sunset
![](20170214/TAS_2001.JPG)
And our supper dining
![](20170213/Professional Photo day 1.jpg)
![](20170213/Professional Photo day 1a.jpg)
![](20170214/IMG_3610.JPG)
This was our table #393. We had some great people seated with us
![](20170214/IMG_3616.JPG)
On the 15th of Feb-we arrive at Atlantis (we are not alone)
![](20170215/_TAS2069.JPG)
![](20170215/_TAS2076.JPG)
![](20170215/_TAS2052.JPG)
First real chance to see where we were located from the outside of the ship. We are on the top left above the red line.
![](20170215/_TAS2055.JPG)
Atlantis
![](20170215/TAS_2016.JPG)
![](20170215/TAS_2014.JPG)
![](20170215/IMG_3627.JPG)
![](20170215/_TAS2013.JPG)
Then the tour led us to Fort Charlotte
![](20170215/Ft Charlotte.JPG)
Our tour guide said we did not have time to go and visit...this was a downer as it was mentioned as part of the tour
![](20170215/TAS_2028.JPG)
From the Ft, we went to a Rum distillery called John Watling's Distillery
![](20170215/2048.jpg)
We stopped by the beach, more so that people could have a smoke I think than anything else ;(
![](20170215/TAS_2039.JPG)
Then we left. It was quick and we were not that pleased with the tour. Back on board, the crew made this little animal using our towels.
![](20170215/_TAS2062.JPG)
As the ship left port, you'll notice that there was not "gun ship" escorting us. Also, there was a person who was on the ship that debarked.
![](20170215/_TAS2085.JPG)
Sunset in the Bahamas - A little wind blowing in Sharon's hair ;)
![](20170215/_TAS2090.JPG)
Then we meet with our dining group. So we have Sharon, Peg, Kate, Dorothy, Rita, Celine and Linda.
![](20170215/_TAS2103.JPG)
On 16 Feb we found ourselves in Freeport. If I were to summarize, this was a lousy stop. I heard that Disney refuses to stop here any more. Very run-down and filthy.
We woke up to animal-formed towels on each of the chairs
![](20170216/IMG_3637.JPG)
![](20170216/2111.jpg)
![](20170216/TAS_2109.JPG)
![](20170216/2116.jpg)
![](20170216/TAS_2110.JPG)

![](20170216/TAS_2107.JPG)
![](20170216/TAS_2132.JPG)
![](20170216/TAS_2136.JPG)
And then on to supper
![](Picture.jpg)
![](Pictures1.jpg)
And supper is always fun
![](20170216/IMG_3642.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3643.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3648.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3649.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3650.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3652.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3653.JPG)
And the sun set on another great day
![](20170216/2142.jpg)
But wait! There is a comic show that is going to show up
![](20170216/IMG_3654.JPG)
![](20170216/IMG_3655.JPG)
Sharon and Peg...waiting for the headliner
![](20170216/IMG_3657.JPG)
Who could they be waiting for?
![](20170216/IMG_3659.JPG)
Well, not really but we all like to steal the spotlight ;)
The 17th of Feb comes quick on the Ship
A quiet stroll around the ship
![](20170217/_TAS2153.JPG)
Yes! Coffee!!
![](20170217/_TAS2180.JPG)
A view all to ourselves ;)
![](20170217/_TAS2161.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2166.JPG)
For a day at sea, I was taking in a book and the view of the Atlantic.
![](20170217/_TAS2183.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2190.JPG)
Well, after wandering around and listening to Debarkation briefings, it was supper.
![](20170217/_TAS2192.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2194.JPG)
Our head waiter giving everyone a hug
![](20170217/_TAS2196.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2197.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2199.JPG)

![](20170217/_TAS2213.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2215.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2216.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2218.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2219.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2222.JPG)
![](20170217/2195.jpg)
After supper we went to another show
![](20170217/_TAS2226.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2227.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2229.JPG)
![](20170217/_TAS2231.JPG)
And there is Sharon, capturing a last moment of the sunset
![](20170217/TAS_2172.JPG)
The next day was debarkation and the mad exodus to the waiting vehicles.
